Description

What can I say? I love doing these types of images of crossovers ideas I'll never plan on doing. When it comes to Valve Software, I did a crossover roster with Mortal Kombat. Then I did one with Capcom. Now here's a Valve crossover with Marvel and this will likely be my last Valve-related roster since I can't think up another interesting dream crossover for Valve anyways.

ROSTER:
1st Row: Captain America, Deadpool, Spider-Man, Magneto, Wolverine, Blade, Pyro (from Team Fortress 2), Gordon Freeman (from Half-Life), Francis (from Left 4 Dead), Zoey (from Left 4 Dead), Scout (from Team Fortress 2), Atlas & P-Body (from Portal)
2nd Row: Wreck-It Ralph (hidden guest fighter), Venom, Dr. Doom, Thor, Hulk, Hawkeye, Storm, Traxex the Drow Ranger (from Dota 2), G-Man (from Half-Life), Demoman (from Team Fortress 2), Saxton Hale (from Team Fortress 2), Lina the Slayer (from Dota 2), Yurnero the Juggernaut (from Dota 2), Leon Kennedy (hidden guest fighter from Resident Evil)
3rd Row: The Thing (hidden), Daredevil (hidden), Dr. Strange, Ghost Rider, Iron Man, DLC1, Black Widow (hidden), Loki (hidden), Barney Calhoun (from Half-Life | hidden), Spy (from Team Fortress 2 | hidden), Chell (from Portal), DLC2, Mogul Khan the Axe (from Dota 2), Heavy (from Team Fortress 2), Morphling (from Dota 2 | hidden), Bill Overbeck (from Left 4 Dead | hidden)

DLC:
Marvel Side: The Punisher, Black Cat, Taskmaster, Green Goblin, Man-Thing, Abomination
Valve Side: Alyx Vance (from Half-Life), Strygwyr the Bloodseeker (from Dota 2), Merasmus the Magician (from Team Fortress 2), Coach (from Left 4 Dead), Tank (from Left 4 Dead), Medic (from Team Fortress 2)

EXCLUSIVE GUEST FIGHTERS:
Xbox 360/Xbox One/PC:Master Chief (from Halo)
PS3/PS4: Cole MacGrath (from Infamous)

FAQS (FAQs subjected to change)
-Q: How would the game play like?
-A: Marvel vs. Valve would play like Injustice: Gods Among Us, minus the classes (like Power and Skilled) and instead of being 2.5D like Injustice is, it would be 3D like Tekken, Virtua Fighter, Soul Calibur, Dead or Alive, King of Fighters: Maximum Impact and Mortal Kombats IV-MKvsDCU. However, like Injustice, it does have special moves, character traits, and super moves, there are stage transitions, and every character will have an intro cutscene and victory cutscene. So think of the gameplay as like Injustice meets Tekken.

-Q: Is there a story for Marvel vs. Valve?
-A: No. At least not specifically. Or maybe it could be that Nihilanth, the Xen ruler, is the cause of a cataclysm throughout both worlds.

-Q: Who's the final boss character in the game?
-A: Nihilanth, of course. Think M.O.D.O.K., but with an entire body instead of being Humpty Dumpty. In fact, he'd be like a mix of M.O.D.O.K. and True Ogre from Tekken in terms of how he plays.

-Q: Are there arcade endings in Marvel vs. Valve?
-A: Yes. All the endings are in the form of motion comics. Some character's endings have the character narrate the ending, meanwhile some other character's endings have someone else narrating.

-Q: Care to explain the guest fighters?
-A: There are at least four guest fighters here, but only two of them are available for all console versions and are unlockable. The other two are selectable by default and each are only available for a single console. The all-console guest fighters are Wreck-It Ralph (on the Marvel side, given that Disney owns Marvel and all. that and he's the most videogame-related because of the theme of his titular movie) and Leon Kennedy (on the Valve side since Valve and Capcom did hook up together to make a L4D mod for Resident Evil 6's PC version). Meanwhile the Microsoft versions of the game has Master Chief (most of Valve's games are centered around military-like action and whatnot so I thought Master Chief would fit in) and for the Sony versions is Cole MacGrath from Infamous (since Infamous is a superhero thing just like Marvel).

-Q: Do Marvel DLCs come with Valve DLCs?
-A: Yes they do. While there are no rivalries in this game like in Mortal Kombat, each DLC character from Marvel will come with a DLC character from a Valve game. Like Injustice: Gods Among Us and Killer Instinct, there are seasons passes. The first seasons pass gives us The Punisher, Black Cat, Taskmaster, Green Goblin, Alyx Vance, Bloodseeker, Merasmus and Coach. And for the second seasons pass, there's Man-Thing, Abomination, Tank and Medic and that's it.

-Q: How would G-Man and Atlas & P-Body play?
-A: I see G-Man as having telekinetic and psychic powers in his moves. It'd be like Mewtwo or some other similar character. Then you have Atlas & P-Bod, who are like the Ice Climbers in Super Smash Bros. and Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank in Playstation All-Star Battle Royale.

-Q: Where's GLaDOS?
-A: GLaDOS isn't in this game because I don't know how to have her fight other characters unless she installs herself in a gynoid body (like what I had her do for Mortal Kombat vs. Valve) or she is a final boss character (like in Valve vs. Capcom).
