Ladies and gents, here comes the time for another Brutal Fists 3 reveal trailer. As promised, it is time to showcase the next character reveal, which is of course the walking shout-out to No More Heroes's Travis Touchdown... Mike Runner!
Trailer starts off with an ESRB message in a black background that says on the white top saying, "MAYBE CONTAIN CONTENT INAPPROPIATE FOR CHILDREN" and on the black bottom, "Visit www.esrb.org for rating information"(meanwhile, the European version starts off with a PEGI 18 rating and the Japanese version starts off with a CERO Rating Pending) for five seconds until it then fades away.

We're treated with a slideshow showing pictures of samurai from throughout history. An elderly voice narrates, "The way of the samurai, or bushido, has been passed down through generations. Warriors who follow such code withheld their honor, commitment, family, and mastery of their samurai fighting arts until their last breath. The samurai spirit is said to still live in breathe amongst their modern-day descendants." and then a record scratch is heard as we cut to Mike Runner sitting on a toilet in his bathroom reading a Strike Witches manga. The narrator says, "...Yes, even this anime dweeb right here." Mike looks at the camera and says, "What?" and the narrator explains, "Well I was talking about samurai life as well as saying that they have descendants in this time period. You are one of them, right?" "Yeah." Mike replies and the narrator goes on to say, "Well don't you think it's time to show everyone your bushido skills or something? You can come home and continue with your moe fest afterwards." Mike says, "Alright, alright." The scene cuts to black and the narrator says, "My apologies for interrupting this sad, virgin ronin during his bathroom break." followed by a sound of toilet flushing. The narrator ends the segment with, "I'm surprise he's even able to afford an apartment, I mean fu-"

Gramatik's "Hit That Jive" starts playing (though for this trailer, it starts at the final "...ain't got time to shake your hand." part of the intro before the beat part) as we are treated with a grunge metal background with a few splats of blood on it where we see big, white stencil text reading "THE RETURN OF" on top and "THE MEGA GEEK HIMSELF!" on the bottom. Five seconds later, we cut to Mike at a geek convention activating his laser sword by tapping it. As he goes into his swordsman stance, the scene pauses and gets filtered with blue coloring. White stencil text shows up saying, "MIKE RUNNER" for five seconds and then the color filter is back to normal and the scene resumes with Mike saying, "Now we're talkin'!" Cut to gameplay footage of Mike at the geek convention dashing towards Marco Adhemer and then he does four saber slashes at the Capoeira fighter. Mike swings his laser sword downward, sending in an energy crescent at Marco, followed by Mike dashing towards the juggling Capoeira fighter and spins his laser sword like a windmill at him. Afterwards, Marco falls and Mike pokes his sword at him. Cut to Mike in a Chinese temple deactivating his laser sword, throwing the sword handle into the air and then, after spinning, he catches is saying, "Too easy!" before reactivating the weapon.

Cut to Mike in the UFC Octagon swinging his laser sword at Mejad three times and then he twirls the sword like a windmill at the alien superhero. Mejad falls but then sidesteps back up. Cut to Mike at an inner city alley trying to attack Draco the Dragon, who is blocking the otaku's slashes. Draco does a megaton punch at Mike, knocking him farther from the boxer. Mike gets back up and as Draco rushes towards him, Mike zips pass Draco with a laser sword slash, followed by him swinging the laser sword at the boxer two times until he falls to the ground. Cut to Mike at a snowy mountain top jumping over a horizontal whirlwind of demon weasels sent in by Jaakuna. This prompts Jaakuna to jump at the aerial Mike, only for Mike to do an airborne combo on the horned man, ending it with a downward slash that crash lands Jaakuna to the ground. After Mike lands back on ground, Jaakuna shoots a dark energy blast at Mike, only for the otaku to reflect the projectile with his laser sword. Cut to Mike in Hong Kong slashing an energy crescent at Ai Xiaoli and then rushing to do three slashes at her followed by sending in two more energy crescents at her Mike then zips pass the juggling Ai with a slash and then twirls the sword at her like a windmill, ending it all with an upward slash.

Cut to a dark, cavernous area where we see Jimmy Randalf asking Mike, "I was curious. Do you actually have a job or do you just waste your time on your little hobbies?". Cut to gameplay of Mike in the dark caverns protecting himself from Jimmy's energy shot shot at him. The shot reflects and turns towards Jimmy and after it hits the UFC fighter, Mike dashes towards Jimmy and twirls his laser sword at him, followed by an upward slash that sends Jimmy flying. After Mike jumps up towards the aerial Jimmy, we cut to Mike replying to Jimmy, "Actually, I have no job... as of yet". Cut to more gameplay of the aerial Mike slashing at the aerial Jimmy rapidly, followed by a downward slash that lands Jimmy back onto the ground. As Mike lands back on ground, Jimmy gets back up. Jimmy kicks an energy crescent on the ground to hurdle at Mike, only for the otaku to sidestep away from the kick shot and then he slashes pass Jimmy.

Cut to Mike in the geek convention holding the laser sword close to himself and as he says, "The bushido is with me" he then starts to do a series of slashes at Marco. Cut to Mike in a warehouse training ring doing the same series of slashes at Koby Dominic until things turn into slow motion except for Mike himself. Mike goes into a samurai swordsman position. After positioning his stance, the speed resumes to normal as zips pass Koby, attacking him with a big slash that sends the brawler flying and falling onto the ground.

We cut to the grunge metal background with a few splats of blood on it. The logo for Brutal Fists 3 (what the logo looks like is up for interpretation as of now) is present and under it we see a publisher's logo, a Genisu Games logo, an Unreal logo, a Nintendo Switch logo, a PS4 logo, an Xbox One logo and a Steam logo. Eight seconds later, Gramatik's "Hit That Jive" stops playing as the announcer says, "TIME TO PROVE YOUR WORTH!"

Cut to Mike in a blackened arena replicating Haohmaru's POW move from Samurai Shodown in which he raises his laser sword behind his head, charges it with plasmic energy and then he quickly swings it downward at Marco before we cut to the same bloody grunge metal background with big white stencil text reading, "BRUTALITY RETURNS 2017!". A big lightsaber sound is heard and the announcer says, "DEATH FINISH! MIKE RUNNER WON!"

Cut to Mike in the geek convention swinging his laser sword around and then he deactivates it. He gently places it on the ground, sits on the ground, and bows saying, "May the awesome be with you." The scene fades to black afterwards.

We are treated with a scene what appears to be a Southeast Asian jungle in sunset. As we tour through the jungle, we cut to a cliff where, in front of the sunset, there is a woman doing three different yoga poses. After all three are done, the scene pauses and is filtered blue and the shaking white stencil text pops up reading, "A NEW CHALLENGE HAS ARRIVED!" with the announcer reading those exact words.
...As you can tell by the Brutality Returns 2017 part, no blood splatters onto the text due to the fact that lightsabers burn away blood but can still dismember people. Just look at the fates of Jango Fett (decapitated) and Darth Maul (torso sliced off) to see where I'm getting at.

Well that's it for the reveal of Travis, I mean, Mikey himself! As always, if you have any questions and/or speculations on whatever was in the trailer, feel free to post away!

My guess at the end of the trailer, i'm guessing it's somesort of a female version of Dhalsim.
