Kitana

Costume 1: Her primary costume from Mortal Kombat 9
Costume 2: Her alternative costume from Mortal Kombat 9

Bio:
Kitana is the princess of Edenia, which was merged with Outworld during Shao Kahn's conquest. When Queen Sindel, her biological mother, committed suicide over the death of her husband and Kitana's biological father, King Jerrod, Kitana was raised by the sinister emperor as a baby and, as she grew up, was brainwashed into believing that she was his daughter and not Jerrod's. She and her childhood friend, Jade, became assassins for Shao Kahn and so was her clone sister, Mileena. However, Kitana has discovered the truth about her past that Shao Kahn wanted hidden from her and turned her back against Shao Kahn for deceiving her. During the invasion of Earthrealm, she convinced Jade and the resurrected Sindel to join her side and they together brought down the evil emperor himself. Thanks to her efforts, Edenia is safe once more.

Voice Actor: Karen Strassman

Special Attacks:
*Fan Toss: Kitana throws her fans at the opponent.
*Upraise: She uses her fans to lift her opponent up into the air.
*Cutting Fan: She spins her fans around her and attacks the opponent.
*Square Boost: She jumps into the air and attacks her opponent using her fans.
*Pretty Kick: She flies towards her opponent and kicks him/her multiple times.
*Fake Kick: She spins in reverse and kicks her opponent.

Fatalities:
*Splitting Headache: Kitana gets out two of her folded fans and stabs her opponent in the abdomen with one of them. She unfolds that fan, thus severing the opponent's torso. She then stabs him/her in the head with another fan and she unfolds that fan, splitting the head in half.
*Fan Boomerangs: Kitana gets out one of her fans, unfolds it, and throws it right towards her opponent's neck, cutting his/her head off. As the fan comes back to her, it cuts the opponent's head's jaw off.

Friendship:
Kitana does a geisha dance with her fans to entertain the player.

Battle Intro:
Kitana teleports to the battlefield with her fans up and says "You'll learn respect!" before she puts them away.

Victory Pose:
Kitana releases her fans and poses like in her promotional render for MK9

Ending:
With no base of operations after their devastating losses in Outworld, Kitana sought asylum in Earthrealm for her surviving Edenian Resistance fighters. Raiden granted them Shang Tsung's abandoned island, where they would remain hidden from mortal eyes. Kitana and her warriors remade the former site of the Mortal Kombat tournament into a bastion of beauty and Light. To honor the god of Edenia, they renamed their new home Argus Island.

Wonder Woman

Costume 1: Her New 52 costume
Costume 2: Her Flashpoint costume

Bio:
Princess Diana was born of Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons, and Zeus, King of the gods. This gives her all traits of the gods such as strength and agility. She left her island of Themyscira and ventured to "Man's World" as an emissary of peace. One of her prominent tools in battling evil is the Lasso of Truth which forces whoever gets captures by it to reveal the truth.

Voice Actor: Susan Eisenberg

Special Attacks:
*Amazonian Upper: Wonder Woman rushes up at her opponent.
*Silver Tiara: She throws her tiara at her opponent.
*Lasso Slam: She tosses her Lasso of Truth at her opponent, ties him/her up and slams him/her to the other side.
*Shield Toss: She throws her shield at her opponent like a boomerang.

Heroic Finishers:
*Heroic Fatality: WeaponLady: Wonder Woman gets out her sword and shield and cuts her opponent's head off. As the opponent's headless body falls down, the disembodied head starts to fly up. Wonder Woman flies up and starts slicing away at the head. Afterwards, she quickly stomps on her headless opponent's corpse and breaks it to pieces. Wonder Woman holds her sword up in triumph.
*Heroic Brutality: Lasso Madness: Wonder Woman ties her opponent by the legs with her Lasso of Truth. She slams the opponent to two different directions and then twirls him/her around until she lets go of the lasso. The opponent hurdles onto the camera lens and hits it. The opponent slowly slips off of the screen.

Friendship:
Wonder Woman twirls her Lasso of Truth around like a cowgirl and then hurdles it to an off-screen object. She pulls the lasso only to the reveal that the "off-screen object" is a Tormentor. Wonder Woman does her "Lasso Spin" heroic brutality and spins the monster into the ground.

Battle Intro:
Wonder Woman bows to the goddess Athena and says, "Athena, guide me". She's blessed with the Lasso of Truth and as Athena vanishes, she gets ready to fight.

Victory Pose:
Two Amazonian guards women teleport behind Wonder Woman and Wonder Woman gets out her sword and shield and holds the sword in triumph after saying, "With strength comes purpose!".

Ending:
Returning to Themyscira, Wonder Woman learned that strange relics had been found scattered across the island: a sword, a shield and a golden amulet, all pulsing with energy. Compelled to equip herself with the items, she was infused with powers beyond those bestowed upon her by the Greek gods. She and her Amazons are now unstoppable as they fight for the preservation of Earth.
The rivalry between Kitana and Wonder Woman still remains the same and here's a reason why. They are both warrior princesses from an exotic land. Nuff said.

Notes and Trivias:
  • Wonder Woman's heroic fatality called WeaponLady is actually a throwback to an old fighting game by Namco that pre-dates Soul Calibur claled WeaponLord. In WeaponLord, there were actually fatalities in that game where you can decapitate your opponent and gut them and all that crazy stuff. Here, Wonder Woman does exactly similar to the fatalities performed by WeaponLord characters, especially the sword-wielding ones. You can see the fatalities in WeaponLord here.
  • Wonder Woman's heroic brutality is actually original. Instead of giving her the same brutality from the established MKvsDCU, I gave her one that does involve a lasso but she slams the opponent everywhere, spins him/her around and throws him/he to the screen, resulting in the injured opponent slipping off the screen.
  • A heroic brutality Wonder Woman had in the established MKvsDCU, Lasso Spin, is now part of her friendship where she does this to a Tormentor.
  • Both Kitana's and Wonder Woman's endings still remain the same.
