Kano is leader of the terrorist cut-throat organization known simply as the Black Dragon clan. During his battle with Jax Briggs, Jax merely destroyed Kano's right eye, which would then be replaced with a cybernetic plate for the right side of his face with a red glowing orb for an eye that can shoot laser beams. When Shang Tsung hosted the Mortal Kombat tournament in his island, Kano assumed that if he won, he would be rewarded with riches and other valuable items in his palace. But during his time in the island, he sided with the forces of Shao Kahn for Outworld. Outworld forces were given access to Kano's advanced weaponry and would learn how to use them, thus making Kano a weapon instructor himself. During the invasion of Earthrealm, Kano finally got to go face to face with Sonya but was nearly killed when she tossed him off a tall-story building. Luckily for him, the centaur Motaro found Kano and returned him to Outworld where he would be healed.

*Ball: Kano rolls like a ball towards his opponent.
*Choke: He chokes his opponent viciously.
*Knife Throw: He throws one of his knives at his opponent.
*Air Throw: An aerial attack in which Kano catches his opponent while both are in the air and he slams him/her to the ground.

*Heart Breaker: Kano rips his opponent's heart out and then crushes it. He lifts his bloody hand up in triumph.
*Laser Head Explosion: Kano shoots a laser beam from his cybernetic eye at his opponent's head. 4 seconds later, the opponent's head explodes into bloody chunks everywhere.

Kano gets out a bunch of knives. He juggles each one at once and then does a grand finale where he throws all the knives up and they all land onto the ground around himself. The opponent claps.

Battle Intro:
Kano spins his knife around like a top and then puts it away, prepares for battle, and says "Wait 'til I cut your stomach open, mate."

Victory Pose:
Kano spits at his fallen opponent and does a cut-throat stance.

Kano's cybernetic eye piece was destroyed during the world merge crisis, so he went to his cybernetist to help repair his damaged self. Though it wasn't the same as before, Kano received a new cybernetic eyepiece and, as an added bonus, received new cybernetic implants which made him able to strike at his opponent from a distance without ever missing. Kano became an even more deadly Black Dragon than he was previously, making him the world's greatest hitman.
