Mortal Kombat vs. Capcom Universe - Mortal Kombat side

Costume 1: Her secondary costume from Mortal Kombat Deception, only without the helmet

Costume 2: Her Primary costume from Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance

Bio:
Li Mei lives in a village in Outworld called Sun Do. She was a farm girl in the village where she was born and raised by her father. She is a beautiful, strong-hearted and graceful woman with a fighting spirit and was trained by Bo' Rai Cho. When Shao Kahn became emperor of Outworld, he forced Li Mei's people to bow down to him under penalty of death. Her family refused to bow down under Shao Kahn's rule and they ended up being murdered at his hands. Bo' Rai Cho returned to Outworld and adopted Li Mei when she was very young after her family was slaughtered. After learning all she needed in her training for years, she was prepared to face Shao Kahn and his forces during the invasion of Earthrealm. She decided to help the Forces of Light in their battle against Kahn's reign and they all succeeded in bringing the evil emperor down.

Associated Stage:
Sun Do

Ending:
The death of Oni Kahn meant the death of Shao Kahn. Li Mei visited her home village of Sun Do, which was finally resorted to its former glory ever since Shao Kahn's first demise. The spirits of her deceased family came to her from the sky to thank her from finally ridding Shao Kahn from existence. As Li Mei bowed with tears of joy in her eyes, accepting thanks from her family, Bo Rai Cho arrived with what may be more good news. She was given an invitation from two individuals, Hideo Shimazu and Kyoko Minazuki, for recruitment as a new instructor for Justice High School. Li Mei went to the other universe that was merged earlier ago and got a job in teaching martial arts and physical fitness at the gym. Li Mei became the school's martial arts instructor as well as fitness teacher, teaching new coming students in the fighting arts in case of another string of school violence breaks loose.
Yeah, I thought about bringing someone from post-MK3 Mortal Kombat into the roster. This one is of the beautifully sexy Li Mei. Of course, I used element's for her story from :iconjc013:'s MK2011 DLC entry for Li Mei, which I think actually fit well for a rebooted Mortal Kombat. Who knows, maybe she might appear in future Mortal Kombat games.

Notes:
*Her fatality "Kick Of The North Star" is basically the fatality "Brutality" from Mortal Kombat Deception with a new name. The name derives from the title of the anime Fist Of The North Star. If you've ever watched Fist Of The North Star or at least have heard of it, there's this thing in the series where whenever the hero Kenshiro rapidly punches someone, that person starts to blow up. Meanwhile, looking at Li Mei's fatality, her rapid kicking leads to the opponent blowing up. Looks like Ed Boon and the gang were watching Fist Of The North Star some time ago while developing Deception.
*What's this, Li Mei is now a martial arts instructor for Justice High in her ending? Yes she is. If you've played Rival School, there's this school called Justice High and it was one of these schools that went through some drama. It's weird that an Outworlder would be teacher in the human world (not Earthrealm, the earth in the Capcom world) but it's obviously not a bad thing that she gets to teach students martial arts, especially in case of another brand of school-related conflict like one from Rival Schools: United By Fate and one from Project Justice. Even Bo Rai Cho would be very proud, since he was her sensei.
