GAMEPLAY DETAILS:

Special Attacks:

• Quick Fire - Deathstroke gets two of his pistols and shoots at his opponent.
• Low Shots - He ducks with his pistols and shoots at his opponent.
  
• Machine Gun - He fires rapidly with an assault rifle at his opponent.
  
• Upward Machine Gun - He fires upward with the same weapon.
  
• Sword Spin - He twirls around with his sword, slashing at his opponent.
  
• Sword Flip - He hops up and flips over with his sword, slashing at his opponent.
  

Cyberdrive:

Enhanced Reflexes - Deathstroke's bullets become unblockable for a short period of time and cool down when a bullet misses.

Cataclysmic Move:

Eye For An Eye - Deathstroke gets out his sword and slashes through his opponent. He slashes downward at the opponent and then throws the sword into the air. Meanwhile, he fires two shots at the opponent's head and when the sword lands down, Deathstroke kicks it into the opponent's chest. He finishes by firing two assault rifles at him/her.

Exterminations:

• Multiple Shots - Deathstroke pulls out his sword and decapitates his opponent. As the opponent's severed head is sent flying, Deathstroke gets out an assault rifle and fires rapidly at the aerial head, rendering it into a bloody skull. As the bloody skull falls, Deathstroke catches it with his sword, impaling it through one of the eye sockets.
• Deathstrike - Deathstroke swings his sword at his opponent's waist, splitting the opponent's torso and lower body apart. He then diagnally slices the opponent in the torso in half. The sliced-in-half opponent slides down to the floor and Deathstroke walks up to his maimed opponent. He finishes by getting out his staff and thrusting it through the opponent's mouth.

MISC.:

• Voice Actor: Mark Rolston
• Intro Sequence: Deathstroke starts preparing his weapons, loading his firearms, and putting them away. He then says, "Would you prefer steel or lead?"
• Victory Sequence: Deathstroke leaves the scene, followed by it fading to black, accompanied by a feminine computer voice says, "Contract pending... Contract fulfilled." We cut to a computer scene layout quickly displaying all the random playable characters in Cyber Cataclysm's roster (even the guest fighters) The computer voice says, "Retrieving next target." We cut to a shot of Deathstroke at his computer and he starts tossing his knife in the air.

Story Mode:

Prolouge:

(Deathstroke is sneaking up behind a business man in a suit giving a speech to the public at a political rally. Deathstroke is holding a knife.)
When Slade Wilson was a young teenager, he got himself into the military along with a lie regarding his age in order to get permission to enter it. He was subjected to a top secret expirement used to make soldiers into superhuman warriors, and this gave Slade enhanced abilities such as speed, strength, and longevity, making him a deadly mercenary in the battlefield.
(Deathstroke is slicing a Black Mask gang member diagonally in half with his sword. The gangster is spewing blood as his upper body has been diced up.)
Slade grew into one of the top assassins in the world under the codename "Deathstroke", or "Deathstroke the Terminator". Deathstroke, being a hardened hitman who cares about the money, will willingly be tasked to hunt down any individual without hesitation, such as his recent mission to take down a security prisoner named Lobo.

Stage 4 Interlude - vs. Hertsabil:

Pre-Fight cutscene

(Scene takes place in outer space as we see a space pirate ship flying across. Cut to the ship's command center. We see Captain Hertsabil and her space pirate crew in all shapes and sizes. One crew member (a.k.a. Crew member #1), who appears as a bluish-grey skinned man with a bald head, ears shaped like a lion fish's pectoral fins, and long tentacles on his face, approaches Hertsabil's throne from below.)
Crew member #1: "Captain Hertsabil, we have received intel that there is a visitor coming to see us."
Hertsabil: "Well then, I wonder who that could be."
Crew member #2: "I'll get it, captain!"
(Another crew member (a.k.a. Crew member #2), who appears as a green-skinned man with the face of a naked mole rat and a black ponytail on the back of his bald head, walks to the hallway to open a door. Suddenly, Deathstroke shows up.)
Crew member #2: "Why hello there, sir. What can I do for ya before I let ya' see the captain?"
Deathstroke: "No. However...."
(Cut back to the command center and the door opens up, revealing Deathstroke holding up the crew member who let him in, whose face is apparently blown off.)
Deathstroke: "I have come to meet the captain of the ship!"
(After Deathstroke throws the dead crew member onto the ground, the rest of the crew get off their chairs and Deathstroke viciously dices each one apart.)
Crew member #1: "You'll be kissing asteroids in Hell, Earthling!"
(The first seen crew member from before gets out a knife and runs towards Deathstroke, only to get his torso cut open, causing all of his guts to fall out.)
Hertsabil: "So this is how you introduce yourself?"
(The furious Hertsabil steps off of her throne and walks down towards Deathstroke.)
Deathstroke: "So you are Captain Hertsabil, correct?"
Hertsabil: "Yes I am."
Deathstroke: "The name is Slade Wilson, otherwise known as Deathstroke the Terminator."
Hertsabil: "I have never heard of you before."
(Deathstroke points his sword at Hertsabil.)
Deathstroke: "Yeah, but even then, I've been hired to kill you."
Hertsabil: "So you want to kill me, I see. Well it's going to take more than a sword to do that!"
Deathstroke: "Think again! I've killed the rest of your crew so don't think you'll survive this battle!"
Hertsabil: "You are only a two armed being. With my four arms, I may not even need my weapons, which means I can tear you apart with four of my bear hands!"
Deathstroke: "I call bullshit on this. You don't even look strong enough to tear me limb from limb."
Hertsabil: "Well it doesn't matter for now. But I assure you, once I'm done killing you..."
(Hertsabil whips the floor.)
Hertsabil: "...I will enjoy making you my little plaything."
Deathstroke: "There's no chance in Hell I'll end up as a dead, S&M toy for your sick, twisted pleasure! Now prepare to be the one dying in this battle!"

After Match cutscene

(Deathstroke and Hertsabil continuously clash swords for 7 seconds until Deathstroke cuts off two of her arms.)
Hertsabil: "GAAAH!!! You son of a bitch!"
Deathstroke: "I guess it's time for you to see space Hell!"
Hertsabil: "Never!"
(Hertsabil uses her gunblade and attempts to shoot at Deathstroke, who jumps up to dodge it. She then wraps her whip around the aerial Deathstroke's legs and throws him over to one of the control panels.)
Hertsabil: "Give up, Deathstroke!"
(Deathstroke gets back up and as Hertsabil attempts to shoot him with her gunblade again, Deathstroke quickly zips pass it and then pass Hertsabil, decapitating her as indicated by her head suddenly falling off. Deathstroke walks towards the severed head.)
Deathstroke: "You should've begged me the stop when I had the chance, then you'd still have a head."
(Deathstroke picks up Hertsabil's severed head and takes it with him as he leaves the space pirate ship.)

Stage 8 Interlude - vs. Kariudo:

Pre-Fight cutscene

(Deathstroke walks over to the Dojo.)
Deathstroke: "Are you one of Xordok's colleagues?"
Kariudo: "Yes I am"
Deathstroke: "Then tell me, what is your name?"
Kariudo: "My name is Keiji Rikuto..."
(Kariudo gets up from sitting on the floor and turns towards Deathstroke.)
Kariudo: "But you can call me Kariudo, as that is the codename I go by. You must be Deathstroke."
Deathstroke: "This takes me back to when I was assigned to Japan."
Kariudo: "And what makes you say so?"
(Deathstroke unsheathes his sword.)
Deathstroke: "I see you are a warrior from the Far East. Japan, perhaps?"
Kariudo: "Correct. I am a descendant of the samurai Akechi Mitsuhide."
Deathstroke: "Well even then, I know you are going to stop me and my mission."
Kariudo: "What mission?"
Deathstroke: "...To assassinate Xordok."
Kariudo: "So that's your business? No wonder I outta stop you. Then again, you seem to be a worthy fighter."
(Kariudo does the same.)
Kariudo: "Now prove your worth, swordsman!"

After Match cutscene

(Deathstroke and Kariudo continuously clash blades for 8 seconds until Deathstroke's sword tosses Kariudo's sword into the air, thrusting onto the ceiling.)
Deathstroke: "Given up, Kariudo!"
Kariudo: "I'm still not letting you go near my master, fool!"
(Kariudo angrily shoots a ball of radioactive energy at Deathstroke, only for Deathstroke to block with his sword, which slices the radiation projectile in half.)
Deathstroke: "Just face it. You lost!"
(Deathstroke walks closer to Kariudo and impales his sword onto Kariudo's abdomen. Kariudo screams in pain and kneels as Deathstroke wanders away from him.)
Kariudo: "I am ashamed to bring about this kind of dishonor... of not protecting Xordok..."
Deathstroke: "I bet your ancestor will be disapointed in you, also. This must be a trouble with honor for you, right?"
(Deathstroke turns back towards Kariudo with a gun and shoots him in the head, blowing the upper half of his head off.)
Deathstroke: "And now to set my sights for Xordok."
(Deathstroke walks towards the dead Kariudo and removes the sword from the abdomen.)

Final Boss Cutscene:

(Deathstroke enters Xordok's lair, which is a huge laboratory like throne room with all kinds of technological elements surrounding the room. Xordok is sitting on his throne which is on top of a center platform that contains stairs.)
Deathstroke: "Xordok."
Xordok: "Slade Wilson? I've learned of you before. Aren't you the most deadliest assassin there is?"
Deathstroke: "Yes, and I've come to finish the contract."
Xordok: "And what contract is it, Deathstroke?"
(Deathroke gets out an assault rifle and points it towards Xordok.)
Deathstroke: "That contract, of course, is you."
Xordok: "WHAT THE?!?"
(Deathstroke starts firing at Xordok, only for the bullet to deflect due to Xordok's invulnerability. Xordok gets up and shoots an energy blast at Deathstroke, knocking him back away.)
Xordok: "I don't know who your employer is, but nobody is killing me in any way! You are a fool, Slade!"
Deathstroke: "I've come to collect easy money! If you think I'm on the side of whatever freedom fighter out there is out for your blood, you are dead wrong!"
Xordok: "Well I don't know who sent you after me so..."
(Xordok hovers off of his throne. Meanwhile, Deathstroke gets back up.)
Xordok: "Looks like I'll be the one canceling your contract, and by canceling it, I mean that I will... you."
Deathstroke: "Well eventhough I'm on no one's side, let me ask you this, Xordok, given what I know about you."
Xordok: "And what is that?"
Deathstroke: "Do you still want to be a totalitarian?"
Xordok: "Wait, are you implying that if you kill me for being a totalitarian, are you suddenly gonna be crowned a hero? You said you're on nobody's side!"
Deathstroke: "Well in truth, I just care about targeting assigned victims, and you're one of them."
Xordok: "I will not let you complete your damn contract. I will crush you with my bare hands if I have to!"
Deathstroke: "Id's like to see you try then!"

Epilouge:

(Deathstroke impales a Thesus Inc. trooper in the chest from behind. The trooper appears to be missing an arm, implying that Deathstroke chopped it off. Another trooper's corpse with his head split in half is lying on the floor in the background.)
When Thesus Inc. came to rise, this included new targets for Deathstroke the Terminator. Business was booming for the deadliest contract killer known to man. Deathstroke's targets included not just Xordok, but also other affiliates such as Kariudo, the evil Thesian's right hand man, Rex Ecutioner, a genetic monstrosity bred to serve as Xordok's personal executioner, and every other known affiliate of the secret megacorp that was hellbent on bringing a New World Order, but only to end up as targets of assassination.
(Deathstroke is standing in a background with a grungy Deathstroke symbol and he is folding his arms. Behind him is an army of foot soldiers who look like how Deathstroke was designed in Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe.)
Deathstroke's battle with Kariudo from earlier gave him an idea of his own of course. Using the reward he earned for his accomplishments, he formed his very own faction. That faction was called the Deathstrike Clan, a planetary band of assassins from around the planet Earth, akin to Ra's al-Ghul's League of Assassins. With the experiences from his fight against extraterrestrial warriors, no alien horde would stand a chance against the Terminator and his clan.

(Linkin Park's "P5hng Me A*wy" starts playing throughout as the Cyber Cataclysm logo pops up before cutting to credits which's background is accompanied by animated light-blue cyber grids moving everywhere while the credits are rolling.)
