GAMEPLAY DETAILS:

Special Attacks:

• Pink Cutter - Chiyo swings her naginata, making a pink-colored energy crescent that flies towards her opponent.
• Nagi-Sukuu - She impales her opponent onto her naginata and throws him/her off of it to the other side.
  
• Kicking Kicker - She does a Chun-Li style kick at her opponent.
  
• Naginata Javelin - She throws her naginata at her opponent.
  
• Naginata Jump - She thrusts her naginata to the ground and jumps while holding it, launching herself to her opponent with a kick.

Cyberdrive:

Pink Aura - Chiyo places her hands together and she starts glowing an aura of pink ki energy. This increase the hit rate of her normal attacks and her special attacks as well. This lasts for 10 seconds.

Cataclysmic Move:

Black Belt - Chiyo puts away her naginata and rushes towards her opponent. She does a series of punches and kicks and ends the move with a pink hadouken fireball attack.

Exterminations:

• Naginata Wheel - Chiyo twirls her naginata around and she lets go of it. The naginata rolls like a wheel towards her opponent and splits him/her vertically in half.
• Naginata Impalement - Chiyo swings her naginata at her opponent's neck, chopping his/her head off. She then thrusts the naginata by its bottom tip into the headless opponent's neck area where the head use to be. The naginata sticks up with the headless corpse impaled on it and lastly, the severed head falls down onto the spear part of the weapon.

MISC.:

• Voice Actor: Cristina Vee
• Intro Sequence: A naginata is left on the ground and Chiyo walks towards it and picks it up. The camera zooms from her feet to a full shot of her. She says, "I hate to have to do this, but this is for personal reasons."
• Victory Sequence: Chiyo walks to her defeated opponent and says, "...I will not take your life for now." She rotates the naginata onto the ground next to her opponent rather than impaling him/her. She walks a little farther away and she sits down and bows to her defeated opponent.

Story Mode:

Prolouge:

(Chiyo Mayumi is standing next towards a wall in a back alley at night smoking a cigarette. She has shaven at least a few portions of her own hair. She is wearing a light grey hoodie. The alley's wall happens to contain a poster promoting a show put up by Chiyo's former self as well.)
Chiyo Mayumi was a J-Pop singing sensation. She had alot of adoring fans during her time in the music industry and, like any J-Pop singer, had done music for various Japanese mediums. However, her career came crashing down when she date a male J-pop star, despite it being taboo for pop stars to date so it was in secrecy. News came out in the form of a controversial sex scandal when she and her boyfriend were caught getting ready, and thus she was banned from the J-Pop industry for life.
(A Yakuza member in a business suit passes a naginata over to Chiyo, who is right now wearing her attire from her profile above as well as tattoos and half of her almost shaved hair dyed green, in a dojo.)
Chiyo was desperate for a job that she went through a radical transformation that involved shaving her head, though only half of it was shaved as she was halted by a business, who turned out to be a Yakuza member. The man offered Chiyo position as their assassin, though at first she rejected the offer until she changed her mind having remembered being jobless. It was at this moment that Chiyo Mayumi went from beloved pop idol to a reluctant assassin for the Yakuza.

Stage 4 Interlude - vs. Inazuma:

Pre-Fight cutscene

(Chiyo Mayumi is standing outside in Kyoto, looking everywhere.)
Chiyo: "I have done work for my new employers but... I don't know if this is even right."
(Inazuma lands from far away next to her. Chiyo looks behind her and turns towards Inazuma.)
Inazuma: "Excuse me."
Chiyo: "Who... who are you?"
Inazuma: "I am Haru Genkai, but you may call me Inazuma."
Chiyo: "I am Chiyo Mayumi, I suppose you..."
Inzauma: "Chiyo? You look nothing like Chiyo Mayumi?"
(Chiyo points her naginata at Inazuma.)
Chiyo: "I am Chiyo Mayumi! I became like this due to having been kicked out of the music industry."
Inazuma: "For real?...Come to think of it, I do remember hearing about that very moment when you were shunned from he industry due to you getting it on with fellow J-Pop singer Kaito Uta. But why are you dressed like this now?"
Chiyo: "I am part of the Yakuza."
Inazuma: "Yakuza? Whoa whoa, Chiyo. I don't think it's a good idea to be friends with those guys. They're always up to no good and if I were you, I'd think twice about joining them."
Chiyo: "They offered me a living that would help make up for what living I once had before! But I..."
(Inazuma gets out his swords.)
Inazuma: "The last thing I want is for you to wind up in a hellhole."

After Match cutscene

(Chiyo Mayumi and Inazuma continuously clash weapons for 10 seconds until it all comes to a draw.)
Inazuma: "Chiyo Mayumi, how can you join the Yakuza, just because you were banned from being a J-Pop star?"
Chiyo: "At first, I never thought about joining them for I knew what kind of people they were. The problem was that after I was kicked out of music making, I became dirt poor. I wanted to make something of myself but I'm not allowed in the industry anymore due to a relationship I had with Kaito."
Inazuma: "I do have to admit, their policy against having any relationships with someone is kinda ridiculous."
(Inazuma puts away his swords.)
Inazuma: "This happened to one of the members of a known girl group years ago. It's bullshit, really. But seriously, you shouldn't be joining a gang of thugs like the Yakuza."
Chiyo: "I understand it's wrong, but I needed help and..."
Inazuma: "You still have fans who supported your music. How would they feel if they saw you doing their dirty work? That would set a bad example for them. Is this the kind of life you want to join even after being kicked out of J-Pop?"
Chiyo: "I...I don't know."
Inazuma: "Well think about it, 'cause I'm worried about you."
(Inazuma hops out of the scene. Chiyo looks at her naginata.)
Chiyo: "I wish I could leave the Yakuza, but I need to make something of my life, especially after having been banned from the industry."

Stage 8 Interlude - vs. Jezzi:

Pre-Fight cutscene

(Jezzi is riding her motorcycle across New York City until she happens to come across Chiyo Mayumi, not knowing who it is at first.)
Jezzi: "Say, who are you?"
Chiyo: "Why should I tell you?"
Jezzi: "I think it'd be nice to tell me who you are and what you're doing here"
Chiyo: "Fine then. Have you heard of Chiyo Mayumi?"
Jezzi: "Chiyo Mayumi?"
(Cut to a flashback of a music video that Chiyo use to do during her days as a J-Pop idol. She is wearing what resembles a university outfit and a neon green wig dancing in a colorful abstract background. No music that would be part of the music video is playing during the flashback.)
Jezzi (v/o): "You mean like that once beloved J-Pop idol who was shunned by the music industry over a scandal?"
Chiyo (v/o): "Yes."
Jezzi (v/o): "Aw, I use to love your music. How can they kick you out of doing music, and why the radical change?"
Chiyo (v/o): "It started with me dating someone, which was considered taboo in the J-Pop world."
(Cut back to Jezzi and Chiyo talking.)
Chiyo: "It was worse because of what we were caught doing with each other."
Jezzi: "Yeah, I know. Look, I heard you were joining the Yakuza afterwards. Is that true?"
Chiyo: "Yes, but it's because I had no other choice. I needed a job so I can make something of my living."
Jezzi: "Well...the Yakuza are not the right people to work for."
(Chiyo points her naginata at Jezzi)
Jezzi: "Wait, what are you doing?"
Chiyo: "I'm sorry, but I don't wish to ask this."
Jezzi: "Look, I know you're feeling alone and scared right now ever since you've left the J-Pop industry by force, but hear me out."
Chiyo: "Don't piss me off!"
Jezzi: "Y'know, I was a fan of yours, but since you wish to react this way..."
(Jezzi backs away and then unsheathes her sword.)
Jezzi: "...looks like it's fighting time."
Chiyo: "Well since you wish to interfere..."

After Match cutscene

(Chiyo Mayumi and Jezzi continuously clash weapons for 5 seconds until they each jump from eachother.)
Chiyo: "I'm sorry it had to come off like this. I'm just conflicted right now about my position."
Jezzi: "Well, how about you ask the industry and your fans to forgive you for that scandal? That's something I would do. I mean, you still have fans who adore your mu-"
(Chiyo starts crying, as evident by her mascara running.)
Jezzi: "Chiyo? What's wrong?"
(Chiyo turns away from Jezzi, holding her naginata close to herself.)
Chiyo: "I appreciate what you're trying to do, but they won't let me do music anymore. They want fans to have fantasies where pop stars like myself are actually singing for them. They feel like if I continued doing J-Pop, fans will think I'm betraying their trust."
Jezzi: "Well that's just stupid. Pop stars who have fans crushing on them should be allowed to date. After all, they're only fantasies and nothing else. Joshua Beaker is allowed to date Sophia Perez and fangirls still fantasize about him loving them. What if your fans don't care that you've been dating? Look, what I'm saying is that it's best to return to doing music instead of working for a bunch of thugs who make the mafia look like saints in comparison."
Chiyo: "Well right now, I'm assigned to kill this figure from a corporation called Thesus Inc."
Jezzi: "You mean Xordok? God, I hate that asshole and what he's trying to do to the universe!"
Chiyo: "Well they said that he's a mentor for Keiji Rikuto, also known as Kariudo, who they revealed to have had bad blood. Right now, it's my business to assassinate Xordok. I'm told if Xordok's dead, Thesus Inc. will be dead too. I don't know how this should topple Kariudo but this is something I will do."
(Chiyo walks away from the scene.)
Jezzi: "I feel sorry for her, especially since I use to love her music. But why the hell would a J-Pop star dating someone ruin fans' fantasies where they're singing to them? They're just fantasies for crying out loud. But oh well, at least I don't mind that she's right now assigned to kill that scumfuck Xordok."
(Jezzi gets back onto her motorcycle and rides away.)

Final Boss Cutscene:

(Chiyo Mayumi enters Xordok's lair, which is a huge laboratory like throne room with all kinds of technological elements surrounding the room. Xordok is sitting on his throne which is on top of a center platform that contains stairs.)
Xordok: "Who are you and what is your business, human?"
Chiyo: "My name is Chiyo Mayumi. I am an assassin for the Yakuza."
Xordok: "The Yakuza, you say? Well isn't that a treat. Kariudo has told me of the Yakuza before."
Chiyo: "Well I am commanded to kill you, Xordok."
(Xordok pounds on his throne and gets off of it in anger.)
Xordok: "WHAT?!?"
Chiyo: "You are affiliated with Kariudo, aren't you?"
Xordok: "Of course me and Kariudo have to do with each other! I hired him as my apprentice ever since when we first met! I'm guessing that the Yakuza decided that anyone who tries to kill my right hand man will face my wrath. Is that why you're out for my blood?"
Chiyo: "You know what, now that you mentioned it, it actually does make sense in my mission why..."
(Xordok hovers to Chiyo, charging his fists with energy particles.)
Xordok: "And I'm gonna cancel your mission by killing...you."
Chiyo: "I WON'T ALLOW THAT! It is you who shall die!"
Xordok: "For what purpose? So that Kariudo will be weakened without me? I mean, I made him the freakin' suit after all! I offered him the power!"
Chiyo: "So that Kariudo will have no choice but to surrender. Thesus Inc. is going down and that's final!"
Xordok: "I think Kariudo told me about his beef with the Yakuza, but as of now I don't seem to remember. But nonetheless, you will be the one going down."

Epilouge:

(A happy and cheerful Chiyo Mayumi, as her former J-Pop idol self, is on stage performing a song to the audience. She is wearing a neon green long wig with a flower hair clip, a pink  and light blue bustier, a pink and white box peak skirt, long pink and light green socks, white gloves, pastel yellow high heels, and a white shirt collar with a pink and black bow tie. There are also back-up dancers along with her on stage.)
Chiyo Mayumi discovered that she was performing on stage. She was a very cheerful and optimistic singer as she has started out as being. Performing on stage, she has attracted alot of praise from her beloved fans who always bought her music and had their music on their mobile devices. This was the greatest day in all of her J-Pop career.
(Chiyo, now in a laboratory that looks like an H.R. Giger painting, wakes up from cybernetic capsule as a cyborg. She now has pale skin and looks like a cross between a Borg and Green Heart from Hyperdimension Neptunia V. Kariudo happens to be in the background witnessing the newly-revived Chiyo.)
However, it was only a dream, as Chiyo woke up in a laboratory in a newly-reconstructed Thesus Inc. that Kariudo, the late Xordok's apprentice, has set up in Japan after both Xordok and Chiyo killed eachother in a duel. Chiyo Mayumi saw what she has become, an emotionless cyborg revived through technology, and devoid of the humanity she once had. Chiyo blamed her post-popstar downfalls on not just the music industry, but also the Yakuza she once worked for, whom the new Thesus Inc. has officially considered their rivals.

(Linkin Park's "P5hng Me A*wy" starts playing throughout as the Cyber Cataclysm logo pops up before cutting to credits which's background is accompanied by animated light-blue cyber grids moving everywhere while the credits are rolling.)
